Camms was excited to take part at the recently held LG PRO Annual Conference. As the largest and most notable Local Government Conference in Australia, the event offers attendees to network with other Local Government Leaders, creating the opportunities for professional development and strong thought leadership centred around how local governments can plan and facilitate community development to be ready for the future.

This year’s edition saw the theme, “Future Ready…Make the Connection”, draw in many Officers from Councils across Victoria. Keynote speaker, Dr. Jason Fox discussed how forward-thinking leaders can unlock new progresses and move deeper into uncharted territory. While Peggy O ‘Neal, President of the Richmond Football Club, shed insight on the value of customer engagement and connecting with communities.

CAMMS sponsored a workshop on how future thinking of local governments can further benefit communities. It fostered extensive conversations on how attendees believe the future will look and how they will get there.

Dean from our Sales Team and Liam from our Customer Success Team were at the conference had this to say:

“We really enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with many of the councils that currently use CAMMS, particularly those who journeyed in from distant parts of Victoria. We were also pleased to meet new attendees and hear the challenges, they are facing around managing and reporting on critical topics of strategy, risk and project management.”

Dean Rogers, Regional Sales Manager

“Taking part in the conference, allowed us to really delve into this year’s edition’s theme “Future Ready’’ and, evolving ways councils will think and function soon. It was also interesting to showcase innovative ways; our solutions help councils adapt to these inevitable changes.”
